Officers and Duties

The Officers hold office for a period of three years, then election of new officers takes place. The term for these officers ends July of 2009.

President: Willie Flagg

Vice President: Alex Sanders

Vice President

· Assist the president as needed.

· Assume the duties of the president in his/her absence or inability to    serve.

Treasurer:  De-Rance  Pittman

Treasurer

· Collect and record dues paid by families during the business meeting.

· Appropriately distribute the funds to the following reunion’s host city’s planning committee.

Secretary:  De-Andrea Blaylock

· Record minutes during the meeting.

· Provide copies for members and distribute them.

· Maintain a record of the minutes from previous meetings.

Youth Coordinator: Christopher Pittman

Youth Coordinator

· Works with host city’s planning committee to develop activities for our youth and young adults for the family reunion weekend.

· Maintains contact with host city’s planning committee throughout the year.

Chaplain

· Pray at the beginning and ending of Pittman family business meetings and at other times as directed by the president or the host city committee.

Chaplain: Danny Sanders

President

· Preside over all business meetings of the national Pittman Family.

· Maintain contact with other officers to ensure that their reports are       completed before the family reunion.

· Prepare or designate someone to prepare an agenda for the meeting.

· Have a working knowledge of current Robert’s Rules of Order.
